Help & FAQ
The short answers. Email us for anything else.
What is CalX3?
CalX3 is a booking platform. Businesses — salons, groomers, spas, studios — run their schedule on it, and their clients book, reschedule and keep track of appointments through it. One account works on both sides: the same sign-in that books you a haircut can run a calendar of your own.
How do I book an appointment?
Open the business's booking link, pick a service, then a time, then confirm. You'll get a confirmation by email with the details of that appointment. You do not need an account to be offered times, but you do need one to confirm a booking, so we can tell you if anything changes.
Where are my bookings?
Under My bookings. Everything you have booked is there, across every business you have booked with — upcoming and past.
What about memberships and credits?
Some businesses sell memberships or class packs. Whatever you hold, at whichever business, is listed under Memberships — what it includes, what is left on it, and which business it is with. The terms are set by that business, not by CalX3.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
That depends on the business you booked with. Cancellation windows, deposits and no-show fees are each business's own settings in CalX3, so there is no single rule across the platform. The rules that apply to your appointment are the ones shown when you booked and repeated in your confirmation email. If you are unsure, contact the business directly — their details are on the booking.
How do I change my details?
Open the menu on your name in the top right of any signed-in screen and choose Account settings. Name, email, phone, address and locale all live there, along with your password if your account has one.
Do you send text messages?
Only if you ask us to. When you book, a business's booking page offers an unticked box that reads “Text me reminders about my bookings with this business, sent by CalX3.” Leave it alone and you will never be texted. Nothing about booking depends on it, and a phone number is optional in any case.
What that covers is reminders about appointments you have booked — nothing else. We do not text offers, promotions or review requests, and a business using CalX3 cannot use it to. Your reminders are sent by email either way, so the text is an addition rather than a replacement.
Reply STOP to any message to stop them, and HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply, and how many you get depends on the reminders each business has set up. Replies other than STOP and HELP are not monitored — to change or cancel an appointment, use the link in the message or contact the business directly.

How do I put my booking link on Google, Instagram or Facebook?
If you run a business on CalX3, open Settings and find Get booked from Google and social under Online booking link. Each place has its own copy of your booking link, so you can paste the right one where it belongs.
For Google, sign in to the account that manages your Google Business Profile, choose Edit profile, find the booking link field, and paste your Google link there. For Instagram and Facebook, paste the link into your own action button or Book Now setting. CalX3 does not add a button to those accounts for you; the setting lives in each app.
Bookings that start from each link show up by source in Reports.
How do I delete my account and data?
See the Data Deletion instructions, which set out exactly how to ask and what gets removed. What we collect and why is in the Privacy Policy.
Something else
Email hello@calx3.com. If it is about a specific appointment, include the business name and the date — it is the fastest way to an answer. Questions about a business's own prices, policies or staff are best asked of that business.
